ABOUT US

The common perception that "organic green teas are not as good as non-organic teas," combined with the fact that only a few percent of green tea is grown organically in Japan, highlights just how challenging it is to produce high-quality green tea organically.

However, there are farmers who have overcome this challenge through tremendous ingenuity and effort.

Our mission is to share the high-quality organic green tea they produce to around the world.

GREEN TEA vs. COFFEE

Unlike coffee, green tea contains L-theanine not only caffeine. This combination of L-theanine and caffeine improves alertness and attention, while also reducing feelings of tiredness known as caffeine crash.
Also, the amount of caffeine in green tea varies depending on the type, so you can choose the tea that suits the time or situation.
・Matcha, Gyokuro, Kabusecha, Coffee (High caffeine content)
・Sencha (Medium caffeine content)
・Kukicha, Hojicha, Genmaicha (Low caffeine content)
Green tea can help improve mood by promoting a sense of calm and relaxation due to its high L-theanine content. It provides a gentle energy boost without the jitteriness often associated with coffee. Regular consumption may also support mental clarity and reduce stress levels.
In contrast, coffee, due to its high caffeine content and lack of calming compounds, can sometimes lead to increased anxiety or nervousness.
Green tea contains catechins, and coffee contains chlorogenic acid. Both are part of a group called polyphenols, which are known for their health benefits such as helping to prevent cancer, supporting blood sugar control, and helping body fat burning.
However, high acidity of coffee can cause problems like stained teeth, bad breath, stomach discomfort, and cavities.
While both green tea and coffee offer antioxidant benefits, green tea goes a step further with catechin to help regulate sebum production and vitamin C to promote brighter, clearer skin.
